At the end of September, a few friends and I performed a little at the Trestle Inn, a go-go bar down the street from our gallery. Eve Greensweig read a folk tale and a book about the occult. I read my most updated scroll of two-word poems. Eugenio Salas did a slideshow. And Jim Strong read some poetry and played some sounds on his computer. We ended with a phone call from Maia Chao, who for most of the time was not fully aware that she was also performing.
Here is an audio recording of what we did, minus Eugenio’s piece due to missing the visual element.
They let me stand on the box where the go-go dancers dance.
